Getting closer...swamped with stuff to do to prepare....a few quick questions
maid service - someone mentioned to me that it may be a good idea to
go through a maid service/agency at first...does anyone know of one
that services the manapakkam area?
I want to get as much done as possible during the 2 weeks before my
family arrives...so, I would like to do as much online, or at least
prepare documents etc. before I go (feb. 13th)
items i plan to do
gas setup - what do i need for this, how do i find who services manapakkam?
broadband - bnsl sounds like the way to go based on your discussions i
have seen...recommendations on plans?...they appear to be handled
differently than in u.s
how long to setup? can it be done remotely, even part of it?
water filter - there is a aquagaurd in my flat that needs
servicing...anyone recommend a company to use?
setup banking - anyone know about what foreigners should do for this
i also plan to buy - a frig., a/c, and basic kitchen items and
furniture...i was told T.nagar would be the place to go (near
manapakkam)...do many places take credit cards? i would prefer not to
carry much cash
any advice is welcome...i likely don't know the right questions to ask
