I for one, don't mind discussing OSX here. Sure it might be OT, but like
it or not Linux & OSX are competitors. In fact, I see a coming war
between Ubuntu and OSX, if it's not already happening already. Sure,
Ubuntu might be out-classed by OSX in sheer eye-candy right now, but the
story might be quite different in a few years.
When linux geeks, steeped in all the "free" philosophy (as in anything
you wish to interpret it as) are going for a premium-cost, mostly
closed-source OS, there is something decidedly interesting happening
there. Being in denial about it doesn't help.
