Macbooks are nice .. very nice indeed. And I do intend to buy one real
soon now.

Stuff your laptop with as much RAM as you can .. but I'd suggest that
you simply run linux on parallels desktop, that's the way to go.

It is a mini-dvi out - most projectors have either DVI or VGA so you
need an adapter for it. It is quite cheap though
5. A person can carry in 1 laptop without any customs duty from
singapore to india. Am I right?
Yes - a laptop can be carried duty free.
