I doubt it, becuase Yahoo itself continues to bear with YahooPOPs!
(http://yahoopops.sourceforge.net/) which let's you *receive & send*
as long as you dont put too much strain on their systems by popping your
mail with yahoopops on a regular basis (over X pops in Y minutes type limit)
or else you run into a filter of the sort used to detect spam robots
that try to automatically create yahoo or other webmail accts and then
spam through them .. and yr account gets deactivated
