When a new model of laptop with latest devices come out it is another battle
for the open source community to get them working with linux distributions.
It is a joy when Ubuntu 6 detects the sound card and stars playing sounds
without having to spend hours.
It is nice to see a few lines of script on the web to enable Tata Indicom
Data Card and connect to internet wirelessly in Ubuntu.
Now more good news.

The march of open source power is finally arriving in India brought by
commercial players. Interesting times ahead!
