macmini has been in the market for long time. Even macmini would run ubuntu
if you install. Compare the ports available and it even has an optical
drive. Check out the "Mac mini At a Glance" section of
http://www.apple.com/macmini/ page. Mac mini seems more features rich at
that size when comparing by specs given in the websites.
