I compiled the source of the kernel 2.6.17.6... things went fine, when
i tried to boot with my new kernel i got a error like this:
PCI: BIOS bug: MCFG area is not E820 - reserved
PCI: not using MMCONFIG
enforcing mode requested but no policy loaded halting now
kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init !
i dint make any change in the xconfig or other config..
My machine is a laptop (intel centrino )
can any one help me reg. this.
