Hi

Request to Admin: Can't we have the upcoming meet announcement in the
main page - center content ? If its already there, can you make it such
that it catches the attention of the visitor at first ?

http://chennailug.org/ contains the upcoming events list. people are
not using the website to announce the events / talk they have planned
to give.

i am not sure about the wiki. but i am sure about the
http://chennailug.org/ site which has a drupal in it can be suitable
for adding/editing the events etc . we are not utilitising the most of
the features that is there in the website.
