(Well, it is a different matter altogether, that ever since I went Linux, I
haven't been able to hook my comp on to the net, and hence, this month, I am

My touchtel provided dsl modem terminates with ethernet and is setup
to
work as a network bridge. I have not tried the touchtel USB modems
under Linux (which I suspect will be a major pain, getting the my
earlier Dishnet USB modem to work was also a huge headache).
Btw, I heard rumour that Touchtel is planning on abandoning the USB
modems in favour of the ethernet ones. Good news for linux-ers.
