I have a 80 GB external USB hard disk.
Now I would like to have an OS installed on it and if needed when I boot
my
notebook and choose the USB as first boot device, the OS installed on USB
HDD should boot.
I tried it once with Ubuntu and Fedora but in vain. Please give
suggestions....
Your bios should support that ,
and ifyour bios supports booting from USB , then you need to write the mbr
to your flash drive.there are many such utilities , i think you can find
them by searchinggoogle for rawwrite. All the best
