I am running a dual procs opteron 242 64 bit built from the slackware 10.2
AMD64 distro, SCSI hdd with adaptec scsi card and its fine. I just made sure
that the hardware I had were all supported by seeing from linuxquestions.org :
forum -> linux hardware.
