I don't think RMS or Knuth has participated and won
any great great contests.
Then I don't think we doesn't need to participate in
such contests then.
Programming contests doesn't mean fighting. Open
you eyes to see that a _team_ (3 students in this
case) works for solving problems, not an individual.
This _definitely_ help people to work in Collaborative projects.
