Ubuntu install is six easy steps. It gave the chance of Live CD for
some one who is scared that trying GNU/ Linux distros will crash
their Hard disks
Ubuntu comes with one GUI and doesn't confuse a new bie with all that
is available.
It is a success from a user's perspective and that is all it intend to do.
no distro has in its objective, clearly stated that the OS should be
made available to people in their own language.
etc., etc., etc.,
and its for human beings ;-)
