I am using Aitel DSL connection on fc3.
I am unable to setup the modem.
Trouble is it is NOT the tera-100U modem for which
a manual is available at Ilugc wiki..
i have installed the eciadsl drivers and i am able to
go online and browse in the tera-100u modem(borrowed from friend).
They(airtel) have given me a modem called "conexant accessrunner" modem.
The tera-100u modem seems to be replaced by this model for the past 3
months.
when i do eciadsl-probe-device and the modem is not initialised it is
supposed to show some thing
similar to
? (067b:2303)
since the firmware has not been loaded..
but what i get is
ADSL USB MODEM / - (0572:CB00)
even in the first time(un-initialised modem , no LEDs on)
eciadsl-probe-synch says
can't set interface 0 to use alt setting 4
and fails..
why is it being detected before probing...
Has anybody had any success in this new model modem in linux...
I am able to go online with the older model without any trouble..
