Uhm. I don't know about you, but missing Multimedia and Database on a Wednesday definitely would not bother me. I actually have some worthwhile classes on T/Th afternoons so I'd be all for an educational Wednesday down at the NIST. November 5, 12, or 19? (I vote 11/12/03) Glad to see everyone's still checkin this eMail thing over break. I don't know about you, but I'm excited to see what great new look http://www.engineering.villanova.edu/prospective/organizations/ieee.html has after engineering adds whatever they want to it. :^} Tis all from here. ~-*-~=#*->Dan -----Original Message----- From: ieee-exec@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ieee-exec@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kyle Comins Sent: Tuesday, October 14, 2003 9:11 PM To: ieee-exec@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: IEEE Exec: Re: FW: Tour for College Students (NIST) I personally think that the NIST sounds more interesting and like they have a pre-packaged tour that might be more organized than something we would get at Lockheed, however I'm a little concerned about how the available times for the NIST would conflict with classes. Seeing as the tours only run on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10-12, it seems to me it would be difficult to organize with professors so that students wouldn't be missing out on coursework. Maybe I'm just a dork and concerned about that and no one else cares, if that's the case, I vote NIST, otherwise, lets try to go to Lockheed some afternoon. ~Kyle P.S. - a big thumbs down for Naval Surface Warfare Center for never returning our email! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tara Bergstrom" <tara.bergstrom@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2003 4:23 pm Subject: IEEE Exec: Re: FW: Tour for College Students (NIST) > Just so we realize....we can do both...one this semester and one > next... so we don't have to decide between them :0) > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Deepanjan De" <deepanjan.de@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2003 1:15 pm > Subject: IEEE Exec: Re: FW: Tour for College Students (NIST) > > > Hey guys, > > > > I think the GPS system would be interesting, but I?m > > interested to see what the NIST tour would expose us to because > by > > reading the email it seems that the NIST may have a good tour > > since > > they are geared toward college students.
