Yeah, that's all well and good for you 15.2 users but
what about us poor, poor 15.1 and earlier users?

Well in 15.2 cadence put a nice new feature on the copy command to
retain the net of the via being copied. It is in the options tab. I
use that all the time now for gnd via assignments.

Sorry if this has been covered lately. What is the best way to
assign a free standing via to gnd?
