We had something similar to this issue when I worked with Allegro on
unix machine. After working with Cadence, we found if you are working in
Allegro as a standalone tool, and not using Project manager, you need to
have the variable "set ALMSG_OFF = exceptProjectManager" in the env
file. I don't remember the PCR for this issue though, sorry.

Hope this helps,

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Termination codes

Hi All,

I'm having an issue with Allegro freezing up when I'm routing or
sliding etch. The screen freezes and I get the following error message:

Termination codes: exit=3, signal=10, errno=0

The strange thing is that it doesn't happen consistently. Sometimes I
can go a week without it happening, sometimes it happens multiple times
a day, but I always seem to be manually routing or sliding etch when it
happens. Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks,
Deb
