One of my daughters did the four year MMaths with astronomy course at
Leicester and used Techwriter throughout.
LateX was asked for, apparently it's a presentation thing, nothing on the
PC could approach the required standard, but she was told she could carry
on with Techwriter, even for her final project, because of the quality of
work she was handing in!
