Hi there,

That worked! Although I have not been able to get a song to play via a network
folder without skipping. I tried it both with a computer that is running
wireless and also a computer that is hard wired. Any one out there able to
play a music file via a network folder?

Try making your music folder writable, rather than a Read Only folder. You
should be warned that making folders writable over a network means that others
can access and edit them if you're, say, using a laptop and logging on to an
open network. This is the case with any folders you share though that you
choose to be able to edit or copy to from Icon by making them writable.

            Hi all,

Concerning the issue with adding files to a playlist or playing selected
file it only does not work with music on network folders. If I do the same
thing with any music on the Icon, it works fine. So, it is something to do
with the network folders. I can still import music from a network folder into
the music catlog with no problems.

    thanks,

    Cory
