[icon-discuss] Re: interesting issue

I also have a rather interesting issue. Consistently, these two things
have occurred on my unit.
1. If I plug headphones in to the Icon while it is in the docking
station, then unplug them from the unit when I'm done using them, the
volume controls won't read correctly, for example, if the volume was
at twenty on the docking station, it will read as fourty. When I was
playing music and unplugged the headphones while the music was
playing, it reset my media volume. That might be because the Icon
thought it was using it's internal speakers, and at the time, my media
volume for those was at it's original. I guess the media and speech
volumes are also independent depending on weather or not you are using
the docking station's speakers, Icon's speakers, the earpeace, and
headphones.
2. When I attempt to disconnect from the ethernet connection, the Icon
will freeze. This is also consistent, and it causes me to reset the
unit in order to get it working again. Something to note that is
interesting, however. While the Icon is hung I cannot load the task
manager, return to the applications menu, ect, I can hit the capslock
key, and the Icon will turn the capslock on or off, but I can do
nothing else.
