Are you mean it is taking for ever to detect it, or it tells you it sees it then takes for ever to load?
Because mine doesn't even acknowledge the USB connection.I do agree, it would be super nice if the USB hook-up should be on the Unit itself. It could go on the top by the jacks or on the side below the spacebar, or next to the big jack... :P But wouldn't it take up less space to have like all 3 jacks next to each other on the place where the big jack is now?
Just my thoughts... actually my friend has a hard drive that's probs an ntfs and it worked. took for ever and a half to load though. and I all ready went through three interface cables. My question is if there would be a possibility that on the next version of the icon if any would have the ports built in to the unit its self. instead of having to worry bout a cable that's easily lost or broken? If it's a hard drive, itcould be that it requires too much power to be able to function properlywith the Icon. Another possibility is that the drive is not formatted FAT or FAT32. If it's formatted NTFS, I'm pretty sure it won't work with the Icon.HTH, Anna If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
