Matt,
You've already seen where the resett hole is but youu don't have to
wait at all to reinsert the battery if that is the way you go. It's
best to use the reset button though.

Yes, if you hold the Icon with the back facing you near the upper
left where the battery is inserted there is a hole with a button in
it, Use a unfolded paper clip or something to press the button.
