Hi everyone!
My name is Allison, and I am a rehab counselor from Pennsylvania. I just got a
Braille+ last week, and I'm loving it so far. My refreshabraille display should
also be arriving any day now. I just have a few quick questions. Firstly,
whenever I check for software updates, the most recent stable version of the
system software which shows up in the list is 2.0.41. I looked at the
description, and it says it was released in June of 2009. Is this the latest
stable build of the system software, or is the latest one the version which
shipped on my device? My second question refers to internet connectivity. I
have a data plan on my smart phone. Is there any way to make the Braille+ see
my phone's internet connection as a wireless hotspot? Lastly, is there any kind
of chat client in the works? It would be great to be able to stay in touch with
friends on msn and other networks while on the go. Thanks.
