Why restrict s-parameters in these ways. We do not restrict other elements to "reality" tests. In the end, all that matters is that the end-to-end interconnect can be simulated. Passivity and causality do not guarantee this. In fact, I have quite a few cases where systems with s-parameters that are both Passive and Causal become non-passive, when multiple passive s-parameter elements are cascaded. This function, if necessary, should be placed in the simulation environments the use s-parameters.

Mike,

One minor correction to the minutes of the Feb 24 meeting:

- Walter: Adge wanted to put passive and causal restrictions on s-params

I think should be:

- Walter: At DesignCon Ian wanted to put passive and causal restrictions on
these Tstonefile s-params
