So was there still a duplicate?
And I know you mean about setting a point for each animal...I have
towers that summon dragons, as you might have seen, and there are
points for each individual dragon so the towers won't keep using the
same summon skill.

I think it has less to do with transformation and more to do with the AI.
I've had the AI use a auto-death skill multiple times on the same
unit, which was supposed to have been fixed with the release of
version 2.

Try changing it so that there can only be one unit on a tile.
Also try having only one warrior near him, to see if he is duplicated.

I've had my own issues with transformation duplicating my unit...but
my problem was I ended up with *both* versions of the unit, one from
before and one from after, with the same amount of AP subtractions.
This was a while ago though, and I've only had it three or four times
now.
