Does the effect still appear? (I've had a glitch where sometimes an
effect would last past its duration period and go into negative
rounds, hence my question.)

I have an effect with the duration of zero. It also causes damage on a
certain point as a one time inflict. Yet what is happening, is that unit is
suffering damage every turn on that specific point.
