I see what you mean now.  Like I mentioned earilier, I didn't see an 
option to have it sign as an attachment in Kmail.  For signing as 
part of the message, to do it on the command line with gpg:

gpg --clearsign filetosign

That will output the signed version of the file. Or, you could do:

gpg --clearsign

You then copy/paste the text in, and then hit ctrl-d to finish the 
input.  It will then output the signed version.

To do a detached signature from the command line:
gpg -a -b filetosign
or
gpg -a -b (and then do the copy/paste ctrl-d)

When I tried to verify what you sent, I couldn't figure out where 
your message began and where it ended since the mailing list attaches 
its own signature to the mailing.  Kmail doesn't look like it can 
verify a message from an attached signature, and only does inline 
verifying.
