Yes, there are still a few compatability issues to address but should be
resolved shortly.Given more time, the website needs starting again from
scratch. Trying to fathom out what others have done and trying to adapt stuff
can be somewhat trial and error.SarahSent from my Galaxy

Yes, I removed the gig guide button because the gig guide itself was out of
date and not much on it. It didn’t do us any favours presentation-wise.
I think that whilst the gig guide outside of broadcast was originally a good
idea, its quite time-consuming for people to manage it and keep it updated.
It’s quite a commitment. Everyone leads a
busy life, so probably just maintain it during broadcast and the button can be
returned then.
I tend to agree about the ‘Listen Again’ widgets although previously they were
put on there to draw attention to our mixcloud, but have probably served their
purpose for now. Something for DJs to
mention in their shows to click on the ‘Listen Again’ button on the website.
I have also managed to dig out the original information regarding the history
of HR that was on the previous version of the website. It is now reformatted
and under another button on the menu at
the top of the page. This only features up to 1999 so any additions of
information for this page would be welcome.
Finally, any info + mug shots of DJs might not go amiss for the ‘About’ page.

Wow Sarah great job with the website ,
I note the gig guide button has gone , thinking about it probably a good thing
for now as I usually spend 2 hours a week updating it , having been busy with
music and other things connected to Hastings rock myself , ralph also too busy
with work to help me with it .
From now on I will only update the gigs for May.
We will need the Button back before May for djs to read out the gig guide .
I question if we need the listen again programmes on the front page as theres a
section for them under listen again tab at the top . just think it gives the
front page more impact and less cluttered without these .
