Yes,
I noticed at the time it was heavily promoted, not too heavily though,
just right I thought and well timed during robo jock. It was the only
ad I left in JD's Rock and Roll programme edits because of the promotion
during robojock.
I don't remember us discussing it on the committee but a very good idea
that has paid off. With a monthly donation, we are almost obliged to
come back in some form :-)

Yes, probably something we haven't really talked about because we
didn't expect anyone would want to do that.
People can set up a recurring monthly payment as well as a one-off.
perhaps something we may want to add to our donations advert.

I think that's pretty good too, and very generous of everyone.
I didn't realise listeners could do a monthly subscription? I must
have missed that.

Ok, seems that donations continue to trickle in to us so sorry Simon,
I have held off until today but will send you the email list tomorrow.
One person has created a monthly subscription of £10 to us.
The donation total as of today is £551.96 (£527.98 net) overall and
I will transfer a further £312.21 to the Hastings Bank Account
tomorrow. I have already transferred the first instalment.
I think that is pretty good.

On top of the previous total I gave, we have received a further
£246.96 in donations, which translates to £236.34 net after fees. I
will wait until tomorrow to send all the info over to Simon just in
case there are a few more.

Sarah,
Yes I will address them individually as that will be better. As long
as I don't put all the wrong amounts with the wrong names them send
them to the wrong people we will be fine. I will do my best to make
sure that does not happen.
As you say, best wait until the broadcast is over as they should all
be in by then. I can do them in one go.
Simon.

I am presuming that we will email thanks individually to people and--
Simon, thanks for offering.
We have received a further £60 (gross) in donations over the past 48
hours so will probably hold over sending all the emails over until
the weekend and post broadcast.
In the meantime, I will ask the DJs to put a general message of
thanks over the air.

I agree too. Quite often, donors want to remain anonymous so I don't
think we should publicise any names. A more general thank you would
be fine though I think.

I think a simple Thankyou to all those that kindly donated this
year via our donate button , you know who you are, type thing is
sufficient.

Thanks Simon.
As has been said, any response will look better coming from an
official HR address.
One thing I did think of was whether we should publicise, in any
way, the names of people who have donated. Some of them might not
want that publicity.
Cheers,

Sarah,
I am happy to do it. It's heavy promotion during Robojock has
obviously proved worth doing. That is a very good total.
I have the webmaster address I can use so it will look more
professional if we use a hastingsrock etc. address. If you let me
have the list I will use Raplh's template text as a basis.
regards,
Simon.

I have transferred this amount to the Hastings Rock account.
I believe that all of these people should have some form of email
acknowledgement and thanks from us. However I simply don't have
time to do this right now. I have emails and details and can pass
on theses details to any volunteer wishing to take this on.
