That being the case > I don't want to experiment with it, I want a stable, reliable install. > yeah gotcha I only have XP dual booting but I am under impression that Grub does the dirty deals done dirt cheap stuf I have blown grub tho & then I didn't know what to do so I put the ubuntu live in & it gives option to boot from 1st HD so I booted & ran apt-get to clear it all up. pretty save tho.
