(E-)Sword's components that you downloaded from the web are installed
differently in linux. In the linux version, you use the menu to add
components, rather than downloading them manually.

Cordially,

Subject: [hllug] Application Installation

I am trying to install and run the bible reading app, "Sword," some of which I
downloaded from the repository; the remainder from the project's website. I
printed out the Installation Notes (see attached,) but still no joy.

After much heavy lifting, I got it to work fine under Debian Etch, but of
course failed to write down the procedure I followed, because it was so simple
I was sure that I would easily remember it...kinda like when I put something
somewhere because then I'll be sure to remember.

Help!!!!
