Will keep it for East Hawaii - it was an E. HI LAC initiative. Thank you.
Will wait till January 29 for any further updates.

Aloha Audrey and LAC members,

I think the East Hawaii BF Resources guide should remain specific to East
Hawaii. Island wide, the resources are much broader than what is shared in our
guide, and revising it to include more info would take a fair amount of time
and be more difficult to update regularly. The resources on East Hawaii's guide
are specific to East Hawaii and useful to both providers and families
here--even though they include some resources from Kona and Waimea. An Island
wide guide might be useful for the DOH, or Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies, or
Breastfeeding professionals, for example, but part of the power and
effectiveness of the current guide to East Hawaii families is that they don't
need to question whether the EH resources are relevant.

It would be GREAT to compile a second, island-wide guide, however! Perhaps
something like that could come out of the upcoming Breastfeeding Summit. Krista
Olsen, what do you think?

Just my two cents!

Sasha

Time to update the East Hawaii Breastfeeding Resource Guide. Hilo Medical
Center will be printing 200 copies to add to their discharge booklet for OB
patients.

I removed Kea`au WIC numbers. Any other updates? Since it includes West
Hawaii numbers, do you want to change it to Hawaii Island Resource Guide?

Please let me know by January 29.

Thank you!
