I highly recommend calling Mark Vega: (770) 310-7031. He installed our new
HVAC about 9 years ago and was about a third of the price of Coolray. We
recently had a leak and Coolray wanted $2700 to fix it and replace coils. Mark
did it for $950.

Hi! The previous owners of our unit just installed a new system in 2012, but
it is leaking freon at both the interior and exterior coils. Repairs will
cost $2600 (even with parts covered under warranty), so I think it might make
more sense to replace the unit instead of investing one that might be a dud
anyway.
We got a quote from Cool Ray, and a new Carrier unit and installation would
be around $7k but with a great parts/labor warranty and 3 year finance plan.
Anybody have any suggestions for brands/companies? We are replacing a leaking
water heater this weekend too, so we're trying to save as much as we can!
Being a grown-up is expensive!
Thanks in advance for any input, and I hope you're all enjoying this
beautiful weather!
