Good morning - As suggested earlier this week today doesn't look promising, even though the rain may be ending by evening there is likely to be low cloud and gusty wind. Thursday will be a nice day to soar the ridge but maybe not so good for basic instruction as winds are forecast to run up to about 20 with higher gusts. It is not very efficient to try to teach (and ask folks to spend money on tows) when you have to spend most of your time fighting the energy in the atmosphere, which is mostly what we would be doing. Friday, however, look s much better. Is there any interest in flying Friday? Please email and copy Graham Hall. Thankfully, long range forecast says the upper air flow is going to flatten out by early next week with much more spring-like weather. Ron
