I want to extend a thank you to all the volunteers who are coming to help
me set up. You guys rock!
I'll be there at 530 with food. We will need chairs set up in the front
area and some tables set up for sandwiches and beverages and chips.
Official meeting start time is 7. That's when the important part begins. We
have quite a few speakers and I expect to be done with the safety portion
around 8. Afterwards, we have the flight center project team giving their
update and takong questions. Again, safety mandatory. Flight center
optional.

business. Then, after that, we have a speaker about the Flight Center

ShiftPlanning) app and the HHSC Member Roster.

I'm also taking this opportunity to ask for volunteer speakers at the
meeting. As wonderful of a voice I have, I don't want to be the only one
talking for an hour. If you would like to speak to some safety issues at
the meeting, please let me know. Just tell me what you'd like to talk about
and how long you'll need.
Additionally, the board is looking at putting in place a "crew chief"
system for each of the duty positions at the hill. We feel there may be
some gaps in training and sign off process that can be eliminated by having
a designated crew chief for each duty.
We are looking for volunteers and nominations for Chief Tow Pilot,
Instructor, Commercial, Log, Line and Cash. We haven't formally defined
these positions, but one of the first things we want these Chiefs to do is
schedule some sort of training/refresher meeting the first month or so of
the season for the people that work those duties.
