Although W1AW is not a propagation beacon, per se, it certainly can be used
to monitor conditions.
W1AW had a very strong signal here, last night, during the CW bulletin. In
addition to the CW bulletin they broadcast Code Practice and Voice
announcements.
Long before the proliferation of beacons W1AW was one of the methods I used
to gauge path conditions AND, it still works.
FYI: Voice=28.590, CW=28.0675 and Data=28.095 MHz.
