The first is “Help the Aged/OPW” OPW=Old People’s Welfare.
The second certainly looks like “row” or “now” but I suspect it should be
“near”?

Afternoon everyone, needing help deciphering these last two from 1983 please.
First "Help The Aged/???? cheque presentation" and secondly "Park School
Nativity - under Choirboy singing and above Mary & Angels, what does it say?
Looks like "Group now crib". Further down the page, in the same handwriting,
I can read Kings in a row so maybe the entry reads "Group row crib" but that
doesn't really make sense either.
