I do an on line lesson each week following an artist. Lots of fun as I am
also in a group swapping WhatsApp messages as we go along. Its quite
hilarious. Heres today's effort..

Much appreciated all the same Karen. Must be pleasurable and satisfying to
paint. I’ve been given paints for Xmas but haven’t hd the nerve to use then
yet. I think I may well be of the naive style😊

Me again!
Marine Artist
Names are right but “speaks at St Joan’s Hall”
Doug but I know what he was on about – It is right exactly as written.
Farnham Grammar School started in a now demolished transept at St Andrew’s
Church. When it was demolished the arch was filled in and is still visible
near to Cobbett’s grave in the churchyard (funnily enough I was looking at
it today when waiting for the peregrine). Some of the stone from the
demolition was given to new daughter churches as they were established –
there is a piece in one of the aisle walls of Badshot Lea Curch. A timber
beam was also kept and used in the “new” FGS in Morley Road (not the bit
built in the ‘60s, the original building on that site.

Nearly team time and needing help. please. A bevy of three for the
collective to ponder:
1. Brian Williams “marine architect”? - with model ship
2. Dr Kenneth's Slack of Christian Aid “years”? at St James' Hall [it
don’t sound right] - With “Sister Graham”`? [that bit sounds more right]
3. This last one looks like it the subject got mixed up with the
descriptions on the other page somehow (arch and grammar school) – but I
can’t see how:
Gingerbread Group cake stall in South Street
Group of 4
Saint Andrews Church filled in archway
Old Grammar School
Farnham OGGS reunion
Group
May have to leave as is for now but believe the Old Grammar School and
OGGS must surely got together?
Thanks
Tony
