  Subject: [hencny] eNewsletter Inquiry

  February 2, 2004

Hello HENCNY List Member . . . and personal best wishes to you and the
family,

I have a personal favor to ask of you. That is why I am writing you with my
personal email rather than using our davidandlaurie.com email as we normally do.

Recently, Laurie and I began using a new option for sending emails that
allows them to be sent in a fraction of the time. However we have just learned
that our December and January eNewsletters may have not gotten to many of you
on our email list. So much for trying new technology!

Figuring out who did and didn't get these eNewsletters isn't straightforward.
This email technology isn't always easy to track. When we send the
eNewsletter, we have no way to know if it gets to our over 2200 readers unless
we physically write you and ask you if you received them. So that is what I
have to do:

Would you be kind enough to respond and let me know if you received our
December and January eNewsletters? Both of them featured offers that included
books for children by our friend, Dr. Gary Parker. We also included
information in our last eNewsletter about Dr. Parker's Creation Adventure
Museum in March and April, 2004. All of this information is also on our
website, if you didn't get the eNewsletter.

In fact, we are taking the liberty of resending that email, which we sent out
last week. If it is a duplicate, we apologize for sending it twice. But we
want to make sure that you receive it in a timely manner, in the event that you
didn't get it the first time.

And please let us know if you are getting our eNewsletters. If you don't
mind, just reply to this newsletter by sending a note to:

  oaktree@xxxxxxxxxxxx

with "eNewsletter Inquiry" in the subject line,

and let us know if you received our December 2003 and/or January 2004
eNewsletters (Please indicate if you received one or the other, or both. That
will help us tremendously too).

We want to continue providing you with helpful ideas and resources for you
and your family. Obviously, our ability to send these eNewsletters is one of
the main ways we do that.

And if you don't want to be getting future eNewsletters from us, you may
always unsubscribe by sending a note to "unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" with
the words "unsubscribe" in the subject line.

Thank you for helping us with this email problem. We hope this email will
assist us in fixing this situation so it doesn't happen in the future.

  Regards,

  David (& Laurie) Callihan
