A quick stop at Sandy River Reservoir in eastern Prince Edward County on
Saturday (Oct. 22) evening revealed an OSPREY, a RING-BILLED GULL, three
BONAPARTE'S GULLS, and one BLACK SCOTER. Some digiscoped photos were taken
before the duck was spooked by a fisherman's boat and then took off heading
south down the lake. Couldn't tell if the bird was juvenile or adult
female. Anyone know?
