Is this a gated community? If so, I’d prefer our walks to be open to the
public and it would be nice if the public could attend there as well rather
than do it for a private audience. Or maybe the public is already allowed
there and it’s not an issue

Hello!

My name is Michael Boothe. I work in Recreation and Programs at Blue
Ridge Mountain Club, outside of Boone, NC.

Blue Ridge Mountain Club spans some 6000 acres and features around 50
miles of hiking/UTV trails. There is significant interest for birdwatching,
birding, and conservation in general among the members of our community.

We would like to inquire about potentially getting an expert from your
organization to come to our property to lead a birdwatching hike/walk
sometime during the upcoming year.

Is this something that High Country Audubon would be interested in doing?

Please let me know if you require any additional information before
making your decision. If you’re interested, we are happy to schedule a
meeting (either in person or via Zoom) to sort out the details regarding
dates, times, etc.
