Hi Sheryl (and everyone else),
I would be willing to arrange speakers for monthly meetings in the Spring,
Summer, and Fall. Don't know if it will get people to attend, but we can
give it a shot and drop it if it isn't working.

We dropped monthly meetings because 1) only the board members were coming,
despite the interesting topics 2) we had no one to plan monthly meetings.
Has anything changed? (Even the annual picnic, which offers food, doesn’t
get much attendance)
There’s no mention of bird-a-thon as a way to attract/interest people.
And, to me, that would be ok to be “members-only”
