If you set the background colour of Terminal to be the same as the Overlay colour for your video card (ie. its 116-116-119 for my GeForce 3), and if you start playing a DVD with VideoLan in another workspace, the video is played over the Overlay colour. Therefore, you can have a DVD playing as your background picture of Terminal (or any other app which allows custom background colours), with your Terminal text on top. Its hard to find a good Text colour in this case (I use yellow).
Highly useless, but very impressive for first time viewers.
