And we can always decide wich set is the best to use as default according to the name and the available icon sets. and Icons (like in almost any OS) can and will be replaced with something people like more, and then there is the advantage of having more icon-sets to be different and stll consistent for the user. just my 0,02 eurocents ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Phipps" <mphipps1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <openbeos@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 20, 2002 4:58 AM Subject: [openbeos] Re: OBOS icons > >> On Mon, 19 Aug 2002, François Revol wrote: > > >Btw I just heard someone (who ?) declined the icon offer. > >I know that can raise copyright issues, but maybe we can talk about this > >publically ? > > We certainly can't use Be's original icons. > These, though, look like Be inspired icons, but different. > I think that they are very usable. > > Now, what we decide to do as far as a default icon set is another question. > A lot of it depends on what we decide to do with our name (ugh) and/or > "themes".
