I installed recently and I certainly missed any mention of HaikuDepot. That
said I may have simply overlooked it because it wasn’t my first time playing
around with Be or Haiku and I knew where to go.
If not on a welcome screen (or in addition to), could it be added to the
Tracker Menu instead? The old versions of OS X had a ‘Mac OS software’ option
under the Apple menu for example. I would think HaikuDepot or a simple ‘Get
Haiku Software’ etc there as a link would work.

There still seems to be a lot of people not finding HaikuDepot when trying
Haiku out for their first time, and then asking about where they can find
other software.
