Waddlesplash was the developer I alluded to Haiku, Inc. possibly being
able to last year, which as he says, did not work out at that time.
Needless to say I personally am very excited and supportive of the
idea. We have been in contact with some other folks but it has always
been tough because most don't have much of a track record with Haiku,
so it is hard to know how things will work out. But this could be a
start of something really great and if we can start with a trusted
developer with a track record we can take a bit more risk with some
newer folks if we can build up a stable funding pipeline.
I am open to seeing if we can actually hire an employee if we can
outsource most of the work, and maybe it works out better financially.
I will try to research that in the coming week or two.
I think the scope, timeframe, terms and proposed pay sound good.
