I have setup (for other free software/data as well) a Bittorrent tracker

announcement there [2] as well and you will gain a strong seed

We already have BitTorrent set up and running, see

https://www.haiku-os.org/get-haiku/) While
it would be nice to have another
tracker, your torrents have a different hash than the official ones, so it
can't track the official Haiku release files.
That's not really how bittorrent works - the same torrent can be added to many
trackers (and adding a tracker doesn't change the hash). It's been a long time
since I was involved in setting up the Haiku release torrents, but it might be
worth having a couple dedicated trackers that are not public (read: abused).
For R1Beta1 I found a few open-source focused trackers and had a few community
members seed it. We really need seeds more than anything.
I'm working on a revamp of our build automation, and stuff is squishy across
the board at the moment.
Anyway, definitely still plan on offering official bit torrent releases for
R1Beta2
