Does /generated corespond to the folder on real partition or it is
just created on the root fs? In the last case it doesn't allowed to
write files on the root fs. The root fs is virtual in Haiku. You have
to use real partition for generated folder.
Yes, the full path is
/Code/Haiku/loonmod/haiku/generated/objects/haiku/x86/release/add-ons/kernel/file_systems/btrfs/Chunk.o

In any event, it turns out that copying the data to another partition
fix the problem. checkfs ( thx Clemens ;-) ) shows some ad b+trees, but
no other issues.. and is unable to resolve.
I am working out of a vmware disk image that seems to have damage, so I
will check the hard drive itself out after backing up to my local server...
