There have been many discussions on this before. I suggest you read
through the mailing list archive and see why certain decisions have
been made. Chances are that your points of critique were already
discussed. Of course that would not keep you from making a different
proposal, but perhaps it will make you understand which ideas you want
to have overturned :-)
