But how "final" is this proposed layout? It seems like it's extremely inspired by the Mac's "bundle" structure, which is good for deploying applications that are self-contained, but not for an universal package format to be used in an operating system for a long period of time. Let's say that I was to create a PDF containing a draft for a complete package management system (of course respecting the work already put into the system such as the bundle format etc, as mentioned on the Wiki), could I put it up for review on this list, even if it deviates quite a lot (but not completely) from what the Wiki says? Would it be accepted, probably not as-is, but at least as input to the package management discussion?
